Application of phenolic resin

Phenolic resin is mainly used for manufacturing various plastics, coatings, adhesives and synthetic fibers. Compression molding powder is one of the main uses of phenolic resin. Reinforced phenolic plastics impregnate various fibers and fabrics with phenolic resin (mainly thermosetting phenolic resin) solution or lotion, and various reinforced plastics formed by drying and pressing are important industrial data. It not only has high mechanical strength and good comprehensive performance, but also can be machined. Phenolic plastics reinforced with glass fiber, quartz fiber and their fabrics are mainly used for manufacturing various brake friction plates and chemical anti-corrosion plastics; High silica glass fiber and carbon fiber reinforced phenolic plastics are important ablation resistance data for aerospace industry.
